Open Call for Latino & Latinx Artists: Ventanas Culturales

ENLACE is now accepting applications for Ventanas Culturales, a rotating exhibition program designed to elevate Latino and Latinx artists while expanding access to arts and culture across Charlotte–Mecklenburg County.

Applications have been open since December 10, and exhibitions will take place from February through November 2026 in community-based spaces throughout the county.

Selected artists will receive a $600 stipend and benefit from:
• Community-centered exhibitions
• Professional photography
• Promotional visibility
• Opportunities to engage with new audiences and partner organizations

Eligibility includes artists who:
– Identify as Latino/Latinx or have a meaningful connection to the Latino community
– Have at least five ready-to-exhibit works
– Are able to install their artwork in person
– Can participate in interviews, photo sessions, and community engagement activities
– Can attend a mandatory orientation in January 2026

This initiative is organized by ENLACE and made possible through the support of the City of Charlotte via the Creative Growth Grant Program, which invests in local creatives and strengthens cultural access across our community.
